Winter time in Yellowstone is amazing to witness and an eye opener as to how all wildlife adapts and survives in the conditions that they meet. This Coyote i saw from a distance, walking along and going about it's business. I laid down on the ground and waited for it to come closer. Nearby there where some thermals created some steam in the sub-zero conditions which would make for a great backdrop along with the snow covered trees. This trip was hard with regards photography but very rewarding
