In the work “Unwilling”, an upward hand holds a weakly downward hand, Or a hand that is hanging down hooks the hand that is falling. I want to show that sometimes the patient and caregiver are torturing each other but also supporting. Because of the care of the caregiver, the patient can spend the rest of his life without so much pain. Relatively the caregivers also do not want and reluctant the patient to leave.
IV bags symbolize that patients usually have to be hospitalized at the end of their life, because they can no longer swallow food on their own. The light inside IV bags represents hope and love. The caregiver takes care of the patient with love and holds hope. Although Alzheimer’s disease cannot be cured so far, caregivers hope that at least it will not get worse.
