Artista e giornalista curda di cittadinanza turca e co-fondatrice di Jinha, la prima agenzia di stampa curda femminista, e composta da sole donne. La sua pratica artistica è inscindibile da una profonda esigenza militante, volta a far conoscere la storia del suo popolo, attraverso interventi artistici e disegni.
L’opera di Dogan ritrae l’artista nelle vesti di infermiera, moderna combattente che, come Davide contro Golia, brandisce il suo stetoscopio per distruggere il virus. L’intervento dell’artista si affaccia sulla Piazza del Foro di Brescia, una delle città italiane più duramente colpite dalla prima ondata di SARS-CoV-2. L’opera dell’artista curda è anche un omaggio alla Resistenza: accanto a questa figura eroica appaiono infatti i primi versi di “Bella Ciao”, l’inno alla libertà partigiana.
