In my artwork, I tried to express the quote itself. The quote is “To bring about change, you must not be afraid to take the first step. We will fail when we fail to try.” The artwork demonstrates this by showing the journey towards change represented by the sun. The water and the sky represent unity. I enjoyed layering the petals. It was cool to see the art transform from petals to a landscape. Also, I found it relaxing to layer and cut out the petals. This artwork was inspired by the book “All Because You Matter” by Tami Charles.
