It is said that art runs in my DNA, whether “good” or “bad” works come out of it. My grandmother is the driving force for my works. Although she is not with us anymore, I paint for her and because of her. I admire working with acrylic and oil the most, even with them being two completely different mediums in itself. Texture is a big component in all of my pieces, visually and physically. I especially play off the bright colors in the era of Fauvism to brighten someone’s day and create an everlasting stamp of color in a world that sometimes can turn gray.
