Who Am I?
Pencil Crayon, Marker on Paper

Every person is different, just like every fingerprint and palm line is unique and one of a kind. My artwork shows all the unique things that make me, me! It shows my love of the outdoors, sports and travelling. Just like we use our fingers on our hands to count, on my artwork, my hand counts all of my many hobbies, interests, passions and dreams. For example, I love soccer, playing on my farm, swimming at the beach, playing the piano, and making art. To represent these things I drew a soccer ball, barn, palm tree, pencil and paintbrush. My artwork also shows my experiences and my life in the past present and future. I used to live on a farm and a beach so I drew a wave and a barn. I went on a trip around Europe so I drew the Swiss Alps. Right now I am living in a global pandemic so I drew a mask; And in the future, I want to go to a tropical island. To represent this I drew a hibiscus and pineapple. My artwork shows who I am today and what I want to be, and this is why it relates to the theme of exploring identity!
