Artist Statement
We spent 6 weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit following my son’s birth at 32 weeks gestation. It is a strange and scary place, filled with equipment befitting extra-terrestrial environments, and babies with alien-like features. This is my son 4 weeks after his birth.
