Virtual Reality (VR) offers a great potential to study behavioral and emotional responses, as it allows delivering reality-like interactive environments within the laboratory. In particular, the VR-Labs research group at the Department of Psychology I investigates learning mechanisms that give rise to and sustain pathological fear and anxiety and virtual reality-based exposure therapies for treatment.
