Driving simulator
50 x 90 x 2.5 cm (h x w x d)

Around the turn of the millennium, Prof. Krüger's research group began to set up a large driving simulator at the Interdisciplinary Center for Traffic Sciences (IZVW). This driving simulator makes it possible to carry out experimental variations in road traffic or in the person of the driver and to test them in a safe environment. The IZVW evolved into today's Würzburg Institute for Traffic Sciences GmbH (WIVW) as a successful spin-off of the university.
