1972 – Goodfellow Bros. established in Hawaii

Each generation focused on opening new doors of opportunity for the company and its employees, expanding into Alaska, Idaho, and Montana, building on GBI’s reputation as a company with integrity and expertise bidding and executing projects in remote areas. That’s why Seattle based company, Boecon, a Boeing subsidiary, reached out to GBI and asked them to bid as the subcontractor on the Kihei Sewage Treatment Plant project in Hawaii. GBI won the bid, and not long after, Steve Goodfellow moved to Hawaii to manage its operations.
