Within the unfortunate context of massacres and genocides on our planet, caused mostly by power struggles, conflicts over skin color, religious discrimination or dominance over territories, the memory of what happened should never be forgotten. An example of this is the Holocaust and the atrocities committed in Argentina, Chile, Cambodia, Guatemala, Rwanda, Bosnia, Darfur and Burma, among others. However, the wound should not be intensified but heal through a new awareness. A worldview that allows us: Remember, What happened so as not to repeat old and unfortunate mistakes. Reflect, By thinking carefully about past events and how we can make changes in the present. React, making the transformations real from our closest environment.

The posters presented below are a sample of the works presented in 2011 by the students of the Dárias Design Institute. Through their proposals, the students graphically approach the dark space in history where heinous genocides have taken place, after the disastrous event of the Holocaust. From that starting point, they have perceived and processed the complexity of the moment, sensitively amalgamated knowledge, thus structuring the messages to be transmitted.
