Nocturnal Diary , 2022
192 x 108 x 3 cm (h x w x d)
Watercolor painting, moving image

The project "Nocturnal Diary" aims to depict personal experiences of lucid dreams, sleep disorders, sleep paralysis, and nighttime terror. It consists of 5-6 pieces made in 2021-2022. The main mediums that were used for this project are ink, watercolor, gouache, and pencils. The series is illustrative and symbolic, and the main point here is to convey both pleasurable and uneasy feelings artistically because it can help other people recognize and combat them. The artist aims to get rid of social stigmas and prejudices about being visionary or seeing strange things.
