In the 1970's through 1980's Gary Coleman was known as the child actor and worked his way into being a household name. Gary was adopted when he was just a few days old and suffered severe medical conditions. Despite all his hardships he didn't let it get him down and became a great actor. Mostly known for his role in the late 70's sitcom Different Strokes.
