Nancy's mother gave Nancy to her sister and brother in law so she could focus on her career as an actress. Nancy's mother eventually came back married and Nancy was adopted by her step-father. Nancy Reagan was a phenomenal First Lady, she was both First Lady of California and First Lady of the United Stated.
