The three pieces in this series recently completed by Cheryl H. Kinderknecht pay homage to nature. Both Time and Tide and Equinox Serenade convey the rhythms of the passage of time and changing seasons, while Three Reef Fish celebrates the gift, beauty, and bounty of sentient beings, as well as depicting forms and patterns found in nature. A mixed media artist, Kinderknecht received an undergraduate degree in art from Fort Hays (KS) State University. Regardless of medium or subject matter, her work is influenced by the colors, patterns, and visual textures of the Great Plains where she grew up.
