100% cotton, mold made, archival paper with natural dyed ink and colored pencils

The body of work presented here takes you through a journey of pain, resilience, and rebirth of the spirit. My art is intended to heal – me while I create it, you while you view it, and the community as they experience it. The use of patterns is a testament to the meditative power of repetition to calm and relax me and focus away from chronic pain which allows me to release the feelings of my tangled (3 ft. scarred) body from two different cancers. But the lines and colors I use are a story of hope, healing and faith in art and the resilience we each carry inside of us to move forward to find our own color and express it.
