Metropolis adds the abstract aspect… solid blocks of colour – rectangles and squares of different sizes seemingly randomly placed but creating a sense of perspective. The glitch effect creates the sense of three-dimensionality. The extensive use of abrash generates palpable textures. This is a modern metropolis… hard-edged, cladded facades… there is nothing naïf or ornamental here.
