My artistic practice is informed by the intertwining of Chinese and Western perspectives and his connection with Australian Indigenous art and culture. Arriving in Australia in 1988, I have travelled extensively throughout Arnhem Land and the Kimberley, inspired by the landscape, its people and their art, which had a profound impact on my own art. The friendships established have led to collaborations with significant Aboriginal artists, Jimmy Pike and Johnny Bulunbulun.
