Colored invasion pattern 2

Labyrinth pattern emerging when air invades a granular/fluid mixture in a 2D cell, in a process known as frictionnal fingering. Color cycles through red, white and blue in a given amount of time as the experiment advances, which shows the local velocity of the moving front.
