Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1992, Antonella Nicoli developed a passion for art from a young age. At 30, after a decade of trying to fit into the corporate world, she moved to Berlin, Germany to fully devote herself to art. A strong creative drive led to the development of her first project, Black and Expensive. This erotica and fetishism project explores sexuality and eroticism. Art driven by desire and filth, and the role nature plays in our lives, particularly when juxtaposed with the high consumption environment. The pain we endure, the excitement it brings, and the fascination we have with everything that is wrong that continually captivates us, are some of the topics she pours into her work.
