Charlotte Edey is a British artist and illustrator working across print, textile and embroidery. Symbolism and myth inform her interdisciplinary exploration of the intersections of identity and the spiritual. The experience of womxn of colour is centred in her commentary on the politics of space.
She has previously presented solo shows at Flowers Gallery, London (2018) and PUBLIC Gallery, London (2019). Her work has been included in group shows at TJ Boulting, London (2018 & 2019), Mall Galleries, London (2019) and Palazzo Monti, Brescia (2019).
