"This painting was created by creating a decalcamania/paradoilia background which is the creation of an abstract background from rubbings, drips, blotting and stamping etc and then picking out meaningful shapes from those abstract forms…similar to seeing faces and shapes in wood grain or in clouds. I used the images that seemed to be within the textures of the paint and added others as the piece developed including hidden faces, gnomes, critters and some areas that will glow in the dark from Light sensitive paint.

I was excited and inspired to be a part of the Vision Train Mushroom Challenge. I have deep appreciation and love for the mushroom kingdom, Their many varieties and healing qualities are so beneficial, some giving us more energy, some helping to improve our memory and others giving our imm unity a boost. Studies have shown that the psilocybin in mushrooms may be an effective chemical for treating post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and anxiety and other mushrooms have been found beneficial in cleaning toxic sites."
