"This guy was a joy to paint. A hilarious frenzy of painting, birthed to the sound of meandering beautiful conversations, captivating sermons from a legendary tanka master and a Wizard, as well as lots of delicious Goldcap- it's been a great ride! A bright endeavour in grey times.

Knowing that we were charged by Paul Stamets to shine a light on such fantastic medicine, this imbued the process with even more potency. I've learned a lot while making this work and am eager to spread the news about the miraculous powers of the Lions mane, the Turkey tail, the Reishi and the Psilocybes that this painting contains.

All proceeds of this painting and prints will be used to seed All Hands on Deck with valuable resources so that we may empower our community. The money would cover a juicy little run of tees with profits being upcycled into printing and painting-scanning facilities to serve the local community. I see this as a great manageable first step towards building community bonds and establishing a hub for learning and resource sharing in my treasured local area.
