In this work, Sarah learn about symmetry in composition. By arranging her subject matter evenly around the centre guideline, she was able to come up with a balance composition. She also experimented with different methods of using oil pastel. She used the sgrafitto technique to capture the texture of the panda's fure and wax resist for the background, resulting in a work that is rich in expression. Well done Sara!
