In the dry season in western India where no rain falls, the most important task for shepherds is to secure water for their sheep, as all the main rivers and ponds get dried up by the intense heat of the sun. This man had a rubber bucket that could be folded and carried. He attached a long rope to it to draw water from a well with a low water level, so his sheep could drink from it. (Gujarat, India 2018)
