This man is working at a foundry in Gujarat state, western India. They first pour iron melted at a high temperature into sand molds, then remove the mold frames after the iron has cooled down and hardened. At this point, even though the temperature of the iron continues falling, it must remain as high as several hundred degrees Celsius. Nevertheless, the process is carried out by bare hands. The way they work would be a clear violation of safety regulations in developed countries, but here it is the norm. (Gujarat, India 2017)
