Þingvellir (Anglicized to Thingvellir) is a breathtaking national park in Iceland. This is just one in a series of pieces inspired by a tour of the South West of Iceland in 2016. It is hard to put into words the majesty of Iceland and the affect it has had on me. I have tried to put some of those lost words into this painting, trying to capture something of the primordial beauty that seems to change at every turn.
