Mouthwatering Outfits , 2020
2D Digital Montage

The fashion industry is the second most environmental impacting industry in the world and is responsible for 1.7 billion tons of CO2 emissions each year. That is equivalent to the amount produced by the international flight and shipping industries combined. In the last 15 years clothing production has doubled according to the Ellen-Macarthur Foundation while the lifetime of clothes has halved.

Following this trend, the fashion industry will be responsible for 25% of global CO2 emissions by 2050.

To solve this problem we founded Mouthering Outfits in October 2020 and we launched our first menu.

What would happen if we could eat our clothes after wearing them? Can you imagine how much value could be captured out of this waste?
