Naidos' Not titled is akin to a botanical sketch in its loose and delicate rendering of pods and seeds.

Archie Naidos is an emerging artist who works with greylead pencil and ink on paper to create ethereal artworks that have a very light touch. Earlier works are figurative and influenced by the portraits of great painters. There is a series he drew of Bellini as well as 'The Virgin of Vladimir' created by Byzantine artist Andrei Rublev. Recent work sees a shift toward abstracted landscapes, where he isolates elements such as seed pods and sketchily draws them amongst other forms and animals, leaving a lot of whitespaces allowing the components to float across the page.

Naidos first worked at Arts Project Australia in 2009 and returned in 2019. He has exhibited in several group exhibitions in Melbourne.
