The soft texture and linework of this work by Scott Sortino sits in contrast with the angular design, drawing the eye to the centre in mesmerising fashion.

Scott Sortino is an emerging artist who creates angular, hard-edged style abstractions. His works feature conversing lines and intersecting shapes in bright saturated colours. Primarily working on paper in a variety of media, he is influenced by Bauhaus painting—in particular the work of Frank Stella.

Sortino has worked at Arts Project Australia since 2018 and has exhibited in the Annual Gala shows. His work is held in private collections throughout Australia.

Condition: Backed and wrapped for protection.
