This photo series is about the first step towards understanding who you are. The notion of mindfulness is paying full attention to what is going on in you and outside you, moment by moment, without judging. It is about expressing your thoughts, ideas and moral values in a way that inherent in your nature, which is the opposite of being a part of average grey zone of society.
“Be yourself” — the industry says. The problem with clichés is that they are so overused that they begin to lose their meaning. Until you examine yourself, it is easy to hear «be yourself» and shrug it off, thinking that you are yourself, because really, who else would you be?
However, there are too many wonderful things in this world that you could be doing — things that make you happy, things that make you become alive. Question what you do, and why you do it. Make the first step to change the world for yourself and others.
