Signage on this old abandoned trailer reminds me of the best steak n cheese submarine I ever ate in my life. You could order a "Mile" - 12 inches- or a "Half Mile." One shop was located on Benning Road NE. The business was founded by the Levy brothers and at its peak had nine locations throughout Washington, DC.
