Space shuttle Discovery's historic final flight riding piggy-back on a 747. Discovery was the fleet leader and launched in 1984 with 39 orbital missions. The first of the three retired space shuttles to be turned over to the Smithsonian's National Air & Space Museum annex near Dulles International Airport for display.
