At the call of The Honorable Min. Louis Farrakhan, Nation of Islam, over one million Afro-American Men from all over the United States came to the National Mall in Washington, DC to take vows to care for their community and themselves. This photo was taken from the west side of the U.S. Capitol looking towards the Washington Monument. October 16, 1995.
