Mirror, Mirror is about coping and healing through makeup and other creative outlets. Makeup serves as a form of meditation, ritual, and self care. Much like a circus clown, I use makeup as a mask to present a different persona to others. Clowns always have the stagnant smile painted on their face, so they appear friendly and happy.
