Have Mercy , 2020
24 x 60 in (h x w)
Acrylic on recycled material

"have mercy" is the last piece of the series and most representative of where I am today. After leaving catholic school, I learned rather quickly that the world I was thrown into was much larger and more complex than I had been taught. While I look back at a lot of my younger years with fondness, the forever presence of catholicism within those memories is still something I'm working to acknowledge, accept, and learn from.
