This symptom is quite ironic when you think about the perception of ADHD as having to do with a lack of focus. As the name suggests, hyperfocus is a symptom of ADHD where the person experiencing it loses all sense of time and their surroundings as they get invested in a task they are doing. That task could be anything from writing to binging a tv show to drawing but in all cases, the person will be so consumed by the activity that hours will pass without their knowledge.
