Cliff | Falaise
36 x 30 x 1 in (h x w x d)
Acrylic on canvas

“Cliff” was born of the realization that people endure pain of all kinds in their lives that can seem enormous. The delicateness of the leaves against the sky reminds us that we should be kind to ourselves against the seemingly unsurmountable which is represented by the rock face in the painting.

My love for art has been lifelong, has involved many different types of creative pursuits that involves painting, graphics, pottery, sculpture, quilting, writing, to name a few . In November 2013 IMAGES exhibit included 6 acrylic paintings in greyscale which I received an Ontario Arts Council exhibition grant for. I do like color and my smaller paintings reflect this. When I am not busy with my family I am exploring my life-long artistic passion.
