SkyOceanBirds highlights the interconnectedness among the elements—ocean offerings, birds and sky. This photo-collage promotes contemplation of nature and points to nature’s resilience in the face of catastrophic challenges. SkyOceanBirds also embraces dreamscapes and imagery emerging from the unconscious.

Linda Briskin is a fine art photographer with ever-shifting photographic enthusiasms: the juxtaposition of objects and reflections; the ambiguities in what we choose to see; and the permeability between the remembered and the imagined. She has a passion for nature and images that last only a breath. She uses collage to construct unique and painterly images which both embrace and displace the original photographs. Her focus, then, is on inventing images rather than capturing them.
