Stop the Spread, honours the heroic efforts of humankind / health care workers to stop the spread of the deadly CoronaVirus, often putting themselves in harm’s way, as they try not to catch the virus. The bronze figure supported by the scientific apparatus symbolically represents humans struggle with the pandemic, and its dependence on science. It could also be a female atlas holding up the globe, mother earth reaching to save the world. The virus depicted by an orange ball is tethered to a contaminated vile, attempts to contain and control. Many more test tubes represent the further testing and efficacy of the vaccines, the hope for us all.
