George Perry Floyd Jr. said, "I can't breathe" 27 times. The video most of us saw was 8 minutes and 46 seconds long but he actually had a knee on his neck for 9 minutes and 29 seconds — court records show. I did not want him to be remembered this way. I wanted him to be surrounded by flowers and heaven because he broke my heart and I wanted to give him something beautiful. If humanity is alive and well in us, his death should have broken all of us. His passing is what woke me up big time. I love him. A sacrifice. A man who helped to bring the world together. Let's keep bringing it together or else he and so many others before him and after him have died in vain.
