Collection: Diana Cohen
© Estate of Alfred Cohen 2020

The Cohens lived near the village of Goudhurst in Kent, when they moved out of London in 1963. As Diana Cohen, recalls, they drove past an old coach house with a ‘For Sale’ sign outside it, and bought it immediately without even looking at the village. Only to find when they did so, that they were enchanted by its picturesque qualities. Alfred gave this painting to Diana as a birthday present.
