Isabelle Vougny studied at the Beaux-Arts in Bourges and in Paris in a workshop before turning to styling and design in Tournai, Belgium. After many years of collaboration with architects and designers, she finely devotes herself fully to her painting, following the footsteps of her two masters, painters and sculptors: her father and André Poirson. Putting inner nature and cosmic nature at the heart of the work, painting the metaphor contained in everything, the emotions distilled by the elements, in a world of fragile equilibrium. Isabelle Vougny is by such a painter of nature, the one who soothes and regenerates with an inexhaustible source of strength, serenity and joy. For the artist, painting is a way of taking action, of asserting one's role in our society by creating links with one's audience.
It is in Isabelle Vougny's workshop that her work is felt as a real ecosystem where fantasy and diversity are at the service of essential realities that are timeless and simple. A vegetable garden of goldfish, a few herbs, an environment where nature is queen. As underlined by Paul Rassat, Press Editor, “Isabelle Vougny's artistic approach is deeply candid, of an unfiltered purity, without intermediary. Intellectualism would create a distance from it". It is viscerally poetic, animated by the emotions and sensations that connect us to nature. This Nature which surrounds us and resonates with our sensations, playing in harmony with the four elements: air, earth, water - so present in Isabelle Vougny’s works - and fire that she invokes metaphorically by quoting Paul Klee " It is the one who watches the work that finishes it." It is the fire of the gaze, of consciousness and emotions which is transmitted from the brush on the canvas to the viewer who never stops completing the works in a movement of self-creation. Isabelle Vougny paints to build and create in harmony with nature and its deep forces to transmit them to those who, by looking at her paintings, are in turn built in an energetic and soothing harmony. Isabelle Vougny's works are part of numerous art collections in France, Europe and in the United States.

Isabelle Vougny étudie aux Beaux-Arts de Bourges et à Paris en atelier avant de se tourner vers le stylisme et le design à Tournai en Belgique. Après de nombreuses années de collaboration avec des architectes et des designers, elle se consacre pleinement à sa peinture, sur les traces de ses deux maîtres peintres et sculpteurs : son père et André Poirson. Son pinceau suivait son envie : mettre au cœur de l'œuvre la nature intérieure et la nature cosmique du réel, peindre la métaphore que renferme chaque chose, retrouver les émotions distillées par les éléments, dans un monde à l'équilibre fragile. Isabelle Vougny est une artiste peintre de la nature. Celle qui apaise et régénère, celle qui est source inépuisable de force, de sérénité et de joie. Pour l’artiste, peindre est une façon d’acter, d’affirmer son rôle dans notre société en créant des liens avec son public.
C’est au sein de l’atelier d’Isabelle Vougny que l’on ressent son travail comme un véritable écosystème où la fantaisie et la diversité sont au service de réalités essentielles intemporelles et simples. Un potager de poissons rouges, quelques herbes, un environnement où la nature est reine. Comme le souligne Paul Rassat, Rédacteur Presse, « la démarche artistique d’Isabelle Vougny est profondément candide, c’est-à-dire d’une pureté sans filtre, sans intermédiaire ». Celle-ci est viscéralement poétique parce qu’animée par les émotions et les sensations qui nous relient à la nature. La Nature qui nous environne et entre en résonance avec nos sensations. La Nature qui conjugue les quatre éléments: l’air, la terre, l’eau - si présente dans ses œuvres - et le feu qu’elle invoque métaphoriquement en citant Paul Klee « C’est celui qui regarde l'œuvre qui la finit. ». C’est ce feu du regard, de la conscience, des émotions qui se transmet du pinceau sur la toile au spectateur et qui n’en finit pas de terminer les œuvres en un mouvement d'auto création. Isabelle Vougny peint pour se construire et se créer en harmonie avec la nature, avec ses forces profondes et pour les transmettre à ceux qui, regardant ses toiles, se construisent à leur tour dans une harmonie énergétique et apaisante. Les œuvres d’Isabelle Vougny font partie de nombreuses collections d’Art en France, en Europe mais également aux Etats-Unis.
