Road To Spring

Bio: I was a U.S. Army Chaplain from 2005-2014. I was injured in Iraq when I was there in 06-07.

Impact art has made: I began painting when I was at the Warrior Transition Unit at Fort Riley. It has given me a creative outlet to replace so many other outlets that have been closed to me.

New Beginnings: Spring in much of Texas represents a new birth for the year coming out of the admittedly mild winters. Nothing says Spring like Bluebonnets with a few Indian Blankets mixed in.

Piece created with: Oil painting on Belgian linen.
