The story behind this piece begins at an article written by an old friend of the artists. The article specified some of Calloway’s short-comings- specifically a story about Yale plates. The plates were a gift to Calloway and mysteriously disappeared, with Calloway stating they were stolen. Rather than ignoring the stories about her, Calloway faces them. She titles a few of her art pieces after terminology and stories used in the article. Calloway has found her career on social media and uses it to sell her artworks. As well, Calloway considers herself an art historian. Her Instagram is a museum and she is the curator.
