Lighting Study - Marble and Glass - Panther
30 x 24 in (h x w)
Digital Still Image. Dimensions Variable. Cinéma 4D + Octane Render

ABOUT THE ARTIST
My name is Frédéric Pons and I am a multimedia artist based in Pantin, France. For more than 20 years, I’ve been on image transformation and production with the help of various pieces of software. Today, I’m focused on 3D imagery, still and video.

In my work, which oscillates between abstraction and figuration, I attach great importance to the raw sensations of shapes and colors, and draw a lot of my inspirations in science fiction.

ABOUT THE WORK
This picture is part of a lighing experimentation series. One of the perks of 3D imagery is that you can have invisible lightsources in a scene, thus creating very surreal lightings. The panther scan was found on threedscans.com and is a part of the Dépôt des sculptures de la Ville de Paris collection.

PLEASE NOTE: The scale of this artwork has been adjusted for the purposes of this virtual exhibition.
