"A crowd creates chaos with tomatoes, hurling them at each other. Usually, throwing tomatoes is when someone is being punished, tied to a post in order to be humiliated. Here, the crowd throws tomatoes at each other blindly, punishing each other".

About the artist:

Olivia Sterling (b.1996, Peterborough, England) lives and works in London. She graduated with an MA in painting from the Royal College of Art, London, 2020.
