Hans-Peter Krüger (1945-2012)

H.-P. Krüger earned his doctorate in psychology under Otto Heller in 1973. Together with Gustav Lienert, Heller also supervised Krüger's habilitation, which the latter completed in 1979. This was followed by interim professorships in Würzburg (Chair I) and in Bayreuth, before Krüger was appointed as a second professor at Otto Heller's Chair III in 1982.
There he succeeded in establishing a focus on the psychology of language and especially on the psychology of traffic, which has a track record that extends far beyond his early death.
Krüger was also very involved in the creation of the Institute "Human-Computer-Media" and the associated degree program.
