The artwork 'Intertwined 2' is based on a SEM image of the filter layer of the surgical face mask FFP2. The original SEM image was kindly provided by Dr. Andreja Jelen from the Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and then artistically altered by the artist using various computer tools.
