Chaos amidst Order , 2020
Oil on canvas

In Chaos amidst Order, I try to make sense of the physical and mental places that we occupy in the moment. By creating a surreal world in which we can find order in our surroundings and in our thoughts, we can begin to make sense of our world. But when we try to literally and figuratively reach the light, we nearly always encounter obstructions. They can guide us or impede us—it is often our decision how we choose to navigate the landscape.
